By now you’ve probably heard about the One Laptop Per Child project – the ambitious dream of giving every child in the world a $100 laptop. The idea, they say, is not to give every starving child the chance to develop an online gambling addiction or to masturbate to badly-dubbed Japanese porn. Rather, the hope is to give kids with little or no access to an education a chance to learn on their own.
